Recent Status: Recorded in Suffolk but not common and may also arrive as an immigrant.

Life Style: A double brooded species that can be found from May to August. The larvae feed externally from a spinning on the berries of Frangula, Hedera, Lonicera and Cornus. They construct a leaf case for hibernation and pupation.

Identification: An easily identified species by the glossy light ochre forewings with a sharply defined broad dark band.
