Life Style: A single brooded species that flies during June, July and August and comes to light. The larvae feed on Juiperus species and possibly also on Chamaecyparis lawsoniana. The species occurs primarily in the southern and eastern parts of Britain and is likely to have flourished on garden species of the foodplant in recent years. The larvae hibernate.

Identification: An easily identified species having ochre wings with wide white costal and dorsal stripes. The dorsal stripes continue on the top of the thorax, head and palps. More Info
