Morley’s Final Catalogue: Local at Hemley by Waller (EMM. 1904, 80); Leiston (Grey); and in 1897 at Southwold (Ctw).

Recent Status: Rare on lighter land areas.

Life Style: A single brooded summer night flying species. The larvae feed on mosses during summer.

Identification: The colour is a glossy dull fuscous with lighter shading to the thorax, head and forward along the costa. There are no discrete markings. The moth rests in a posture similar to Bryotropha species with wings fairly flat with a slightly raised head. More Info
