Recent Status: A well distributed species over Suffolk preferring light land areas, but not particularly common.

Life Style: A single brooded species flying from March to July and coming to light. The life style of the species is not fully known.

Identification: A species with a white or cream costal stripe that starts short of the base and narrows out at around three fifth. It continues anteriorly on the leg femurs and lower edge of the extensively long scaled second palp segment. The termen and cilia exhibit seven successive dark and white lines.
