Morley’s Final Catalogue: Apparently somewhat rare with us. Among apple-trees at Leiston before 1890 (Grey).

Recent Status: A single Suffolk record.

Life Style: A single brooded species that flies during July and August and comes to light. The larvae feed from spun leaves on Malus and Pyrus. They pupate in the larval habitation.

Identification: The moth is a pale species with prominent black spots. There is an elongate one on the base of the costa and two centrally in the wing that may appear doubled. There may also be tornal and pre- apical spots. There are dark spots around the wing end. More Info
