Life Style: A single brooded species that flies at night and comes to light. It can be found during summer, mainly June to August. The larvae feed from spun together or folded Betula leaves in the spring following oviposition.

Identification: A white winged species variably marked with scattered black scales in particular forming a costal mark at two thirds and a small mark on the base of the costa. The wings have strong scale tufts around which are a light ochre tint. More Info
