Recent Status: A rare species in Suffolk.

Life Style: The moth flies between May and July but little else is known of the life style.

Identification: The moth is similar to other species in the genus. A. subochreella is paler has unmarked forewings and contrastingly dark hindwings. A. josephinae has a fuscous abdomen, which is ochreous dorsally and darker ventrally in A. flavifrontella. A. josephinae flies later than the other two.
