Morley’s Final Catalogue: Found among Cerastium, Brandon (Tr. Norf.Soc. 1874, 72).

Recent Status: Current status is uncertain. A rare species in the UK. It may still occur in Breckland.

Life Style: The moth is single brooded and day flying. The larvae mine leaves of Cerastium arvense and Stellaria graminea. They feed before and after hibernation.

Identification: The moth is distinctive. It is a light yellowish ochre with a black tip and three longitudinal silver stripes partly black edged. The larvae mine small blotches on leaves and will move between plants. The case is constructed from pieces of leaf. More Info
