Recent Status: An adventive species that comes into the country with olive trees. It could breed where olive trees survive but there is no evidence of that in Suffolk.

Life Style: In southern Europe there are three generations a year. The larvae feed on Olea europaea.

Identification: The moth looks like a washed out P. fraxinella but has a fiery orange colour around the thorax and more extensively on the wing base and legs.
