Recent Status: A scarce immigrant species in Britain first recorded in Suffolk during October 2018, with 2 more records in 2022 including the first for VC26.

Life Style: The species is a pest in olive growing regions. The moth flies during June, July, August, October and November. The larvae feed from a web over the leaves.

Identification: A small species that rests in a declined posture. The colour varies through grey to brown.
