Morley’s Final Catalogue: Bred by the Bishop from larvae at Ipswich 1931-5 (Entom 1937, p. 31).

Recent Status: A rare species in Suffolk.

Life Style: The moth can be recorded from April to September. The larvae feed on Sorbus aucuparia, S. aria, S. torminalis, Malus and Cotoneaster frigidus.
