Morley’s Final Catalogue: The twenty Plume occurs everywhere among honeysuckle and is always present at Monks Soham and lpswich lights; frequently found hibernating indoors.

Recent Status: Abundant in Suffolk.

Life Style: A double brooded species that hibernates often in buildings and can be found at any time of the year. The larvae feed by mining the flower buds and leaves of Lonicera species during June and July. They pupate in a cocoon on the ground.

Identification: The unmistakable Twenty Plume moth. There are a number of very similar European species that have yet to be recorded in Britain.
