Recent Status: There is a single record for Suffolk as a mine during 1988.

Life Style: A double brooded species flying during May, June and August. The larvae mine leaves of Pyrus species.

Identification: The moth is very dark golden fuscous, the terminal quarter is purplish. The head tuft is orange the scape and collar a paler orange. The mine from an ovum on the upper surface is contorted often forming a false blotch and filled with black frass. The larva is green. More Info
