Recent Suffolk Status: The sole county record of this very rare immigrant came from Hollesley on the night of 24.06.2019 (R. Watson). This individual was part of an unprecedented influx of four moths into Britain in 2019 (the other three were in Kent).

Life history: Double-brooded on the continent.

Identification: Compare with Marbled Brown.

Habitat: Woodland containing Poplars on the continent.
