Recent Suffolk Status: A very rare immigrant. 3 county records, the first in west Suffolk in 1999.

Life history: Single-brooded. Two of the Suffolk records were in the summer but the 1999 record was in September.

Identification: Very similar to Willow beauty. Feathered beauty has much more feathered antennae and the outer cross line is strongly curved in the trailing half.

Habitat: Coniferous woodland.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
