Recent Status: A scarce species in Britain first recorded in Suffolk during 2020 and also found in the surrounding counties.

Life Style: The moth flies in the evening and also comes to light during April and May. The larvae feed on flowers and developing fruits of Rosa canina. They pupate in a folded leaf and pass the winter as the pupal stage.

Identification: The moth is a narrow winged Euscomid. The forewing is a grey-clouded white with small black dots short of the apex and a black and brown marked dorsal patch. The basal quarter is grey and marked brown and black. The thorax is grey with a brown crest. More Info
