Morley’s Final Catalogue: A common and polyphagous species. Ipswich in 1930-4 (Whit), Westerfeld in 1895 (Pyett), Hacheston, Aldeburgh, Leiston, Southwold, Lowestoft, Beccles; Gorleston palings in August 1931-4 (D). Brandon.

Recent Status: A common species across Suffolk.

Life Style: A summer Acleris species with larvae feeding from a rolled or two spun together leaves of Crataegus, Cydonia, Malus, Prunus, Pyrus, Rosa or Rubus.

Identification: A small broad winged Acleris with a readily recognised colouring of orange/brown with purple shades and a prominent white costal blotch.
