Recent Status: A common species across Suffolk.
Life Style: A summer Acleris species with larvae feeding from a rolled or two spun together leaves of Crataegus, Cydonia, Malus, Prunus, Pyrus, Rosa or >Rubus.
Identification: A small broad winged Acleris with a readily recognised colouring of orange/brown with purple shades and a prominent white costal blotch. Recorded in 39 (67%) of 58 10k Squares. First Recorded in 1895. Last Recorded in 2023. |
