Morley's Final Catalogue: Not known from Suffolk in Morley's time.

Recent Suffolk status: Only found very locally in north-east Suffolk in the broads.

First found in Suffolk at North Cove in 2011, with other locations for the moth close to this site.

Life history: Single-brooded, flying in early summer.

Identification: A large clearwing, mainly black with one white band across the abdomen.

Habitats: Alder carr woodland.

Recorded in 3 (5%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2011.
Last Recorded in 2023.
