Recent Suffolk Status: Three recent records: Reydon Wood 03.08.2013 (J.Everson), Raydon Great wood on 23.07.2022, on a wine rope (P.Bryant et.al.) and Ipswich 08.07.2023 (E. Patrick).

Life history: Single-brooded in the summer, with a partial second generation in the autumn.

Identification: White-line snout is a slightly larger moth with the white cross-line extending right across the wing and not interrupted at halfway like Pinion-streaked snout.

Habitat: Woodland.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
