Morley's Final Catalogue: Not recorded in the county during Morley's time.

Recent Suffolk Status: Very rare immigrant, 4 records. The first county record was at light at Blythburgh on the night of 18 August 2004 (D.E. Wilson). There have then been single records in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Life history: Double-brooded in Europe. Can be seen visiting flowers in sunny weather as well as coming to light on the continent.

Identification: Unmistakable.

Habitat: Hot, grassy places with the foodplants.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.

Last Recorded in 2023.
