Morley's Final Catalogue: Not listed. Morley states: approaches us in Cambs, whence it may be found to impinge into Suffolk.

Recent Suffolk Status: Extinct. Last seen at Redgrave in 1968. Still recorded very occasionally in the Norfolk Broads with the last sighting in 2018.

Life history: Single-brooded.

Identification: The more well marked form of the Crescent is a much larger moth and normally is less reddish.

Habitat: Mainly moorland, but also fens and marshes.

Last Recorded in 1968.
