Recent Suffolk Status: Rare immigrant.

There are three modern records of Angle-striped Sallow in Suffolk, 2011 in the Woodbridge (J. Higgott) area and two in 2018 from Dunwich (P. Kitchener) and Bawdsey (M.Deans).

Life history: Resident populations of this species are restricted to central England and Scotland, feeding on Birch (Betula).

Habitats: This species inhabits heaths and open woodland.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.

Recorded in 4 (7%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1964.
Last Recorded in 2018.
