Recent Suffolk Status: Local, mainly in the Sandlings, woodlands south of Ipswich and in the Breck.

Life history: Single-brooded. Normally seen at light in small numbers. Larvae have been found on Honeysuckle in both the autumn and the spring occasionally in the county.

Identification: The immigrant form of Great brocade is also greyish, but larger and it has a black basal streak.

Habitat: Woodland, wooded heathland, gardens.
