Morley's Final Catalogue: Levelly distributed, and quite common on sugar, throughout Suffolk; Orford (Gibbs); Ipswich, Monks Soham at light; &c.

Recent Suffolk Status: Much declined and now very scarce with the vast majority of recent records from wetland sites.

Life history: Single-brooded. Seen at sugar as well as at light at known sites.

Identification: Fairly unmistakeable.

Habitat: Marshes and Carr woodland.

Recorded in 36 (62%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1940.
Last Recorded in 2023.
