Morley's Final Catalogue: Also among broom, but wider spread and less numerous than the last kind. Tattingstone (Bp.), Bentley (Gibbs) rare at light in Ipswich (as early as 23 April in 1895), Hogs Highland (as late as 3 August in 1894), Playford, Waldringfield, Aldeburgh; one at light on 18 July 1914 in Monks Soham, where is no broom for miles round (Mly); Creeting hills (D), Needham, Stowmarket; Tuddenham (Bloomfield, Sparke), Downham, Brandon (Barrett, Norf. Nat. Soc. i, p.27). Unnoted in north-east.

Recent Suffolk Status: Very local in the Sandlings and Breck, declining.

Life history: Single-brooded in one long extended generation through to August in Suffolk.

Identification: Streak has the obvious pale mark from the wing apex.

Habitat: Heathland, scrub, forestry rides.

Recorded in 25 (43%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1914.
Last Recorded in 2023.
