Morley's Final Catalogue: Probably general, but much mixed with the last. Fritton (Mly), Beccles in 1933 (Mr), St Olaves in Herringfleet during June 1928 (D). Icklingham (Wiltshire).

Recent Suffolk Status: Common in the Sandlings and Brecks with scattered records elsewhere.

Life history: Double-brooded.

Identification: See Spruce carpet and Pine carpet.

Habitat: Heathland, Pine plantations, gardens.

Recorded in 48 (83%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1928.
Last Recorded in 2023.
