Commonly found across Suffolk and can be seen in parks, gardens, scrubby woodland and grassland. The larval foodplants are Bedstraws and they pupate among plant debris.
At rest, they always hold their wings away from the body with the hindwing edge curled upwards. They are superficially similar in appearance to Spinach (Eulithis mellinata) but has a unique resting posture.
