Morley's Final Catalogue: Locally quite frequent in both east and west. Belstead, Ipswich, Barham, Coddenham, Brandeston; not very common at Yoxford, Beccles, Lowestoft, Fritton, Bradwell (D). Tuddenham, Brandon.

Recent Suffolk Status: Local.

Life history: Single brooded.

Identification: Cream wave is larger with a pointed forewing and less defined cross-lines. Rosy wave also has a more pointed forewing and straighter cross lines.

Habitat: Damp habitats including wet grassland, fens and marshlands.

Recorded in 38 (66%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1940.
Last Recorded in 2023.
