Recent Suffolk Status: Very few records. A migrant/ wandering species to the county.

Life history: Single brooded.

Identification: Larger than the similar Common lutestring. Central crescent mark and dark dash in the corner of the forewing are distinctive.

Habitats: As a migrant to the county could turn up anywhere.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
