Morley's Final Catalogue: Occasionally taken in Suffolk. This species' apparent rarity may be in part owing to its early debut.

Recent Suffolk Status: Common in the Sandlings and Breck areas with scattered records elsewhere.

Life history: Single brooded.

Identification: Early flight season and obvious yellow antennae are distinctive.

Habitats: Woodland, heathland, gardens.

Recorded in 28 (48%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1936.
Last Recorded in 2024.
