Morley's Final Catalogue: Beaten from Myrica gale in Barnby Broad during early August 1936 (Mly). Well known in Norfolk (Norf. Nat. Trans. iii, 687).

Recent Suffolk Status: No recent records, possibly extinct.

Life history: Single-brooded in the summer.

Identification: Could be confused with various species of micro-moth due to its small size. Has two dark angled cross-lines across forewing.

Habitat: Fens, bogs, reedbeds.
