Bungay (Mn), Fritton (Mr), Lowestoft (Btn), Gorleston cliff (D).

Life history: Single-brooded.
Identification: Bulrush wainscot has dark marks along the outer edge of the forewing.
Habitat: Reedbeds, fens, ditches, river valleys.
