Morley's Final Catalogue: Termed ''common'' and not worth localising in our 1890 Catalogue! Now so infrequent as to be capable of instance solely in the Bentley and Fritton woods, singly on sugar.

Recent Suffolk Status: Very local in the Brecks, coast and river valleys in the county.

Life history: Single-brooded.

Identification: Six-striped rustic lacks the black mark in the corner of the forewing.

Habitat: Woodland, wooded heathland, scrub, carr woodland.

Recorded in 27 (47%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1940.
Last Recorded in 2024.
