Morley's Final Catalogue: Not recorded in the country during Morley's time.

Recent Status:The first British record of this rare immigrant to Britain was from West Sussex in 1983. Records have been increasing in recent years and the species may be on the verge of colonisation.

The sole county record to date was taken at 40W actinic light, at Felixstowe, on the night of 14 October 2019 (W.J. Brame).

Identification: Compare with similar Flame Shoulder. Leucogaster has longer fore-wings and pure white hind-wings.
