Morley's Final Catalogue: Both quite frequent from Bentley Woods to Gorleston, occuring occasionally at Monks Soham light in summer.

Recent Suffolk Status: Common.

Life history: Single-brooded. Larvae have been found at night on Ivy in the autumn during searches for moths on the flowers.

Identification: Scalloped Oak normally flies later in the year and is more yellowish in colour.

Habitat: Woodlands, scrub areas, hedgerows, gardens.

Recorded in 50 (86%) of 58 10k Squares.
