Morley's Final Catalogue: Not known from the county in Morley's time.

Recent Suffolk Status: Rare. Known from one site only, where it was first recorded in 2007.

Life history: Double-brooded. Both broods have been seen at the known Suffolk site.

Identification: Water carpet is a larger moth.

Habitat: A woodland ride on the edge of fen habitat in Suffolk.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.

First Recorded in 2007.
Last Recorded in 2016.
