Recent Suffolk Status: Very local in marshy habitats along the coast and some inland fens.
Life history: Double-brooded.
Identification: Oblique striped has a short dark streak running from the tip of the forewing. Many-lined has a pale streak running from the tip.
Habitat: Fens, marshland and wet woodlands.
