Morley's Final Catalogue: Very little rarer than the next kind, but unnoted from the west and north. Copdock (Hkg); Bentley Woods not infrequently (Mly), Ipswich, Baylham and Westerfield (Pyett); Kesgrave (Freeman); Waldringfield, very plentiful at light and sugar (Wlr); Brandeston.

Recent Suffolk Status: Locally common.

Life history: Suffolk records suggest a single brood with occasional records later in the year.

Identification: Single-dotted wave has the dark spot in the corner only and Small Fan-footed wave darker forms are not as pinched in along the dark outer band.

Habitat: A wide variety of habitats including gardens.

Recorded in 50 (86%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1940.
Last Recorded in 2024.
